Squint
Remember when our parents would tell us not to sit too close to the television because it would make our vision bad. Growing up I heard this often when I sat too close to the television. This myth annoyed me for the reason that I didn’t believe that the television would make my vision worse. Growing up my vision was very blurry and my parents thought I was being mendacious. This made me ponder about eyes and how they functioned. By my freshman year of high school my vision did not improve and it was then when I finally went to the eye doctor also known as an Optometrist. Once I tried my glasses on for the first time I knew I wanted to be an optometrist. I’m not an optometrist just yet; however, I briefly read the anatomy of the eye. Remembering the names and functions of each part of the eye is not an easy task. I’m very eager to have the parts of the eye memorized so I created a mnemonic device. The poem _______________ is a great device for anyone who wants to remember the names and uses of the anatomy of the eye.

Funny enough the research portion was actually the part of creating my mnemonic device. I first made a list of the parts of the eye. After I had the names I had to gather the function of each part of the eye. Once I had the names and functions of each part of the eye I had to find a way of rhyming a subject that's actually seen more logical than artistic. I knew my poem could not be short due to all the information
